Rohan, meaning Land of Horses, lies just North of Gondor. It is a beautiful country with width, grassy plains, bordered by tall mountain peaks. The people who live here are well known for their love of horses and are skilled riders and warriors. The land is ruled over by King Théoden, who's house sports the symbol of a running horse. But all is not well in the Kingdom of Rohan.
Recently the land has been forgotten as the mind of Rohan's King has been poisoned, his sight no longer stretches out of his beautiful golden hall, Meduseld. Now Orcs and bands of Wild-Men are roaming through the land, destroying homes and villages and driving the people of Rohan away.
Soon Edoras appears in view and the riders spur on their horses, it will not be long before they arrive at Edoras.
