Minas Morgul

Minas Morgul is now an evil looking structure. It was once Minas Ithil - the Tower of the Moon - a fortress-city built beneath the Mountains of Shadow by Isildur. In it's time it was a beautiful place.
Now as Frodo, Sam and Gollum approach it the view is completely different. At the being of the Third Age Sauron and his evil forces took over the Tower of the Moon. It became home to the Nazgūl and has since been known as Minas Morgul - the Tower of Black Sorcery. The tower now emits an eery green light, the only light in that dark land.
