The Lady Galadriel

Galadriel is Arwen's grandmother. She is also a Ring Bearer, she carries one of the original three Elven Rings, the Ring of Adamant or Nenya. Galadriel also invites visitors to Lórien to look into her special mirror which shows 'things that were, things that are and things that might not yet have come to pass'.
    Galadriel is the wife of Lord Celeborn, who came from North Mirkwood. Together Galadriel and her husband guard their Wood from dangers, with the aid of Elves such as Haldir.
    As the Fellowship pass through the Golden Wood they are presented with exquisite gifts designed to help them on their quest. Each member received a Grey Cloak, made by the Elves, and designed to make the wearer become invisable to the untrained eye. They also were gifted with a more personal present; weapons, rope, and especially for Frodo, a magical phial containing the light of Eärendil.
