Sometime after 11:15am
Although you are reading this on the Cirith Ennor website I am actually writing it in a French lesson at school having finished the work I was supposed to be doing and not having anything better to do.

Have just been informed it is half past

It's two days 'til my birthday and about three weeks 'til the start of my exams so I probably should do some more revision. But hey! I think I'm doing okay. I go 23 out of 25 in my speech which means that's 23% of my final grade already.

There is something about this class which makes me inexplicably gain a weak bladder. It's strange as soon as I leave the class I'm fine again. Maybe it's altitude

Probably should do something else. It must be obvious I'm not working. My teacher's just walked past me three times. Now everything is covered with French sheets and every so often I look up a word in the dictionary -

Le Seigneur

- so that he thinks I'm working.
Have Business Management next. Will have to actually work in that. Will do actual revision.
I was up at 6:30 this morning writing my English essay which I don't think was homework but I did another few hundred words anyway. He made me read out most of my essay to the class yesterday. The wrote it on the board and made everyone copy it.

Des Anneaux

I was not impressed!
The girl who sits opposite me in French keeps on stretching out her legs so that her feet are under my chair and I can't get comfortable... grrr!
I think he wants to mark these damn things now so I should stop.

Am in History. Have finished work and have another 20 minutes left. Have finally finished all work that needs to be done and so can get on with revision.
Roddie wanted to borrow my English notes and I said yes, then forgot to give them to him so will have to take them to the shop tomorrow in case he decides to come in and get them. Oh well. Means I'll have to do my essay tonight instead of while I'm trying to stay awake on Saturday night.
Don't actually have very great plans for tonight

does that make sense?

Would like to go on the internet, check e-mail, CoE, mail Mike and Robyn and such like. Also would like to watch Scrubs but that could be done tomorrow night (I think) that is if it's still on. Hopefully it should be on Channel Four soon because I missed half the last series.
'Tis very annoying that all the TV writers seem to be on a murderous spree. First cute Ben in Holby City, then Bobby with the sexy accent in Third Watch! Is no-one safe?

Well, am feeling very special at the moment. I now have the two lastest issues of Empire and Total Film as well as this my friend Lisa brought me in a bag with my birthday present in it. She got me this little pink deck chair thing which is supposed to hol make-up stuff, some pinkish eye make-up and some purple 'n' flowery hair accessories.
Dad is currently threatening me with getting a six foot long box for my birthday -

A coffin if you haven't guessed

- as he says I'm being a pain.

So what's new!

Woo hoo, Hugh Jackman (minus sideburns and plus long hair) and Matthew Perry are on Parky tonight. Due to start any time soon. Have texted Robyn to inform her of this but am unsure of how much credit she has or if she is in fact able to reply.
Roddie did come in to pick up my English notes and brought them back to me and even typed them up and gave me the disk to make any changes I wanted to make. But I no longer feel inspired to write the essay.
Tomorrow Dad wants to take Will and I to the cinema to see The Core.I really wish it was something else. The Core doesn't really seem like a very birthday-ish film. For your information the cinema on the island seats around ninety people.

Which is why I get so excited about going to a mulit-plex

We always sit in the same place (D8) and the opening adverts are always the same.

Ahh... the joys of independant cinema

Have pre-decided that at 1:20am (the time that I was born) I am going to open the three presents and card that Robyn got me, all the same at 10:35 when Parky finishes (just over half an hour) I shall get ready for bed. As my Dad has gotten me computer bits and pieces I think that I should clear out some of the junk that Ihave on it. Stuff like the demos that I installed and have never really worked, all the extra files that I have, all the word documents containing interesting tibbits of information such as 'amy cafe...' and 'test' which I don't think are highly important to keep.
Oooh here comes Hugh Jackman, the facial fuzz from Wolverine seems to have dispersed and regrouped on his head. It's weird, the suit makes him look a lot less muscley.
Oh well. Hugh Jackman is far more interesting than this!

Well today was my birthday and what a birthday it's been. As I reported yesterday Lisa gave me a bag of presents. Today I stayed up until one-twenty in the morning to open Robyn's presents. As well as what can only be described as a very *witty* card I got a little Astrological diary and marking my birthday was a bookmark with Gollum (and my preciousss... oops... I mean The One Ring). As well as this she got me a Loch Ness Monster Money Box (for obvious reasons) and finally a pack of Top Trumps Cards (Lord of the Rings of course).
I finally dozed off sometime around two thirty in the morning and slept blissfully until around nine thirty when Dad and William woke me up with a glass of Orange Juice, a cup of tea (in my Two Towers mug) and a bowl of Hunny Bees (Winnie the Pooh cereal things which I pestered for). Once I finished my breakfast I made my way downstairs and my Dad, brother and grandparents presented me with new presents. From my brother I got a big folder thing (for revision stuff 'cos I broke my other one), a calculator, pen and pencil set and a little blue teddy bear with gold stars all over (the exact same one as I got for Lisa's birthday). From my Dad I received four very much identical packages, each one containing various games for my computer -

which I installed and spent all day playing on rather than opening my school books

- and from my grandparents I got a new lamp to replace my old forever friends one which doesn't hold the bulb properly and also gives you electric shocks when you try to turn it on or off. This new lamp is one of those really cool magical touch lamp things and looks set to be great, that is if we can actually find a bulb for the thing.
I have to admit that one of my best birthday presents this year was actually being allowed off the washing up after lunch. So I took a shower and went to play on Creatures. Also I spoke to Robyn twice today, once at about one and then again five hours later before we went to the cinema. We saw The Core which is a good film although the special effects gave me a headache. I had already planned to watch Lord of the Rings but I'd run out of time while I was killing more than time on Creatures 3 (one of my gifts from my Dad). So I'm watching it right now, I condensed a History essay into bullet points -

Aragorn - silly ranger - she caught you off guard!
Here comes Arwen - damn you for having more poster space than Legolas! ;P

- And now I'm going to finish watching the first disc of the film but I'll have to finish watching the rest of it after school tomorrow or I'll never get any sleep tonight. I'm really hoping I can play the 'birthday card' to get out of my English homework.

Must remember chocolate eggs for birthday tea in school library tomorrow!

Am at school, in English trying to write a journal entry and do an interp paper at the same time so you may have to excuse me if this passage seems a little dis-jointed or if it ends abruptly.

Questions on Paragraph 1
a. Look carefully at the sentence structure of paragraph 1 (lines 1-5) and explain how it contributes to the author's argument 4A/U

Okay well that was a tough one and I don't thik I've answered it properly. I'm virtually alone in English, Roddie's not here (which means no tea in the library at break time) and I don't have a clue where Vicky is. Also I left my Robert Frost notes in my other notepad. Grr! Today is not going well. Anyway, let's look at the next questions.

b. Look at lines 9-16 and explain what kind of problems are anticipated when "The Exorcist" is shown. 4U

Damn! English teacher's back!

Well question three didn't seem too hard at all. I wish I had something really interesting to say -

I wonder how many people are still reading this...

- but I don't. At least question four (well d actually) is only worth two marks. Later on I'm probably going to spend all of my lunch break in the library. Maybe I could phone Dad to see where he is? Oh yes! Question D.
Good! Mr L. has gone again. This is one hell of a boring lesson but I don't really mind. When I get home tonight I'll have another two veggie burgers or maybe an omellette and then I've got my new computer games to play and the other half of the Lord of the Rings. Which I just HAVE to watch!
So much for doing our Robert Frost stuff in English. It's now breaktime. At about one 'o' clock (hopefully I can get out of German early) I'll phone my Dad to see if I can go down the shop for lunch. If not I'll buy a sandwich and eat it in the library over a cup of tea.

I'd rather go down the shop though...

Five more minutes 'til German. I'm not really in the mood for it today, at least I'm not doing Art with the highly unPesiftocated Mr A anymore. Not that Mr M is much better!

Still 28th April
2:50pm
Well I have a few minutes (while Mr F's out the class) to report on what's happening today, or at least since I last wrote. I spent all of lunch and all of History working at reducing every essay I've done in that class into bullet form for revision. German went okay and it seems that Sarah does in fact like Lord of the Rings, or more to the point, Gollum!
Oh great Mr F's back and he wants us to do... A PAST PAPER!

Evil!!!

29th April
9:15am
Another one of those dis-jointed entry's. I'm in double history and we have to do a past paper, and I have a sore wrist -

No jokes please

- probably from writing too much. I've been doing so much revision. Uh-oh! Here comes work.
I've done question one of five, worth six marks and the bell's just rung. That means only another hour to go. We've been told that the questions aren't due in until next Monday. Which means that I can use the sources as revision and take them slowly.

I wish my wrist wasn't so sore - it makes it hard to write

Okay, next question. About the Spanish Civil War.

Man this is boring

Only another half an hour to go and I've only done two questions, with my notes. I must clean out the little animals tonight. Well I have to clean out the part Chico stores his food in and all of the Rats cage. As my lamp came in a fairly large box I'm going to use that for them. I have to walk the dog home today. At the moment the sun is shining and it's not too cold outside. All the heating in the uphill building at school is on which means that in History it's boiling and so in English it'll be freezing. It's breaktime next and I have two little Mingles -

mmm... chocolate...

- to eat. I'm not that hungry. Everyone's given up on the work now. I'll do question 3 tonight and that means that the weird cartoon thing can wait until tomorrow, in class, when I can ask Mrs N what it means. Tonight I'll be able to do some more revision, probably Business Management but I also have to memorize a couple of poems for English.

Work!!! Too much!!! So unfair!!!

Still 29th April
About 2:00pm
So far today has been one of those Yo-Yo days. It all started okay, to some extent, as good as double history can be when you have a past paper to do. Then it was break.

Have just re-located to the library

Break in itself wasn't too bad it was just this annoying boy throwing rubbish around in the corridor outside my Business Management class while I was waiting outside it. Then English which wasn't too bad. During my lunch break I re-did the shop window, yet again. Then I came back up to school after lunch expecting a horrible two hours of French and German but due to today being interhouse the French class was empty and so I've been re-located to the library. Of course I'll still have to go to German as only two people will be at interhouse from there.
I brought back the library book that I had out while I was here. It's eight days overdue, but the school was closed on the day it was due back. Now I only have one more to bring back but I'm not going to read it all because it's too confusing and I don't have time, so I'll just scan it and bring it back on Friday.

Why is it the only time I have to write this thing is the only times I have nothing to say.

Everyone else has stuff to do, well there's only three other people from my French class in the library and they're on the computers. But the only stuff I brought with me this afternoon is French and German and I have nothing to do for either. Anyway. I'll probably be phoning Robyn tomorrow -

Now I'm not in Mr M's class I can turn my mobile back on.

- and tonight I must check my e-mail as well as work on my computer and I guess I'll watch Holby City (although I don't think it's as good as it used to be)

Especially since they killed off Ben

I'm going to colour in some of my diary for the last ten minutes.
