The Black Gate
"... the door of the Black Gate was thrown open with a great clang, and out of it came an embassy from the Dark Tower"
The Black Gate Opens

As the army approaches the Black Gate their strength lies not in numbers but in sheer luck. The great gate appears ominously ahead of them. It is a dark structure operated by large trolls and guarded by Uruks.
Aragorn leads the assembled soldiers. He has finally accepted his role as leader of Gondor and wears the White Tree of Gondor with pride and carries Andúril, the Flame of the West.
They finally reach the gate and stand forth to issue their challenge and are met by the Lieutenant of the Dark Tower of Barad-dûr. He is known as the Mouth of Sauron as he has carried out his Master's evil work for so long now.
With him the Mouth of Sauron brings proof of Frodo's failure, Frodo's mithril shirt, Sam's short sword, a grey cloak with an Elven broach and the tatters of Frodo's clothes. Aragorn and the assembled company feel a great wave of despair wash over them. Frodo has surely failed and so the doom of Middle-earth is at hand. Suddenly a vast army of Orcs and creatures of Mordor comes out to meet them.
